About Me

I am a senior bioengineering student and student-athlete on the Women's fencing team. I have been fencing sabre for about 10 years. In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing guitar, cuddling with my dogs at home, and 3D printing.

Research Interests

My research interests include on-chip models, bioprinting, biomechanics, and sports engineering.

My Favorite Fun FAT Fact

A common known fact about adipose tissue is that is stores energy; this is the function of white adipose tissue. However, brown adipose tissue generates heat through non-shievering thermogenisis.
